MOBILE GROOMING

Policies
By any other name, should smell as good as your dog.
Please review the brief, but direct, must-haves list to see if we make a great fit! (It's all for the good.)
Is mobile grooming for me?
More importantly, is it right for my dog?

Mobile Grooming
Mobile grooming is not suitable for every pet. Salon grooming is not for every pet. Every pet is different.
I give honorable assessments on every first visit and make adequate recommendations per the environment most suitable for your pets unique needs.
More times than not, your dog and I will work together great.
Please know I do not force dogs through the beauty process nor do I do work in which I feel my health or mental strength is challenged beyond my own capacity.
I am for humanity over vanity.
This means, an elder dog will receive a haircut suitable for comfort and hygiene over style and finess.
A terrified Toto will receive kind, patient, gentle care
over a perfectly primed pooch. (With this approach Toto does improve!)
If I feel, out of professional opinion, your pet is suitable for another environment, I will direct you towards such with recommendation and communicate with you about it.
Acknowledging the priority of care for your pet is who I am.
Parking
Please ensure upon arrival that there is adequate parking for the mobile unit.
I do not park in parking garages. I do street side parking and flat terrain. If you are in a complex of sorts, please check where I can park so our appointment is efficient beforehand and I will ask about parking if not otherwise noted.
I am happy to physically meet you at the lobby of your complex and come to the door of your home to receive your pet. I will always have a lead to place on your pet. Please do not assume your pet will not jump of my hands or freely come to me initially when we meet. I'm on their turf and we're getting to know each other. A dogs natural instinct is to stay with their owner. The lead is for safety in the event your pet gets loose from me.
There are no exceptions to this. I'm sure your pet is an angel, but angels are also known to fly. :)
Humanity: I have learned over operating several different grooming establishments, my time is best utilized focusing on the direct work I can provide for you. I am a small business. I am a mother. Perhaps I am aged a bit wiser than other counterparts but I am merely observing. I am not interested in vast expansion because that is the "thing to do" in business. Nor am I interested in taking on clients just because it's available. I enjoy what I do and will be present in doing it with no intention on vaca ownership. The truth is, I am not here to service everyone. I also acknowledge, I am not a fit for everyone. The gift I have found is not in becoming bigger or necessarily busier, but in providing service straight from owner, me to you, while managing my own capacity to stay atop the priority of what you receive, from me and my passion. That is my gift to you, because my availability for client appointments are limited, I hope to provide service to those who appreciate the why.
Because I am a one woman enterprise, I ask for understanding. I ask that if you like my services, please pre-book. If you like my services, please tell your friends! I chose to focus more on direct relationships than I do on social media.
I am a fierce time-management human. Help me, help you.

*I rarely am able to take same day appointments. I am always, always happy to notify you of a same day opening. Please pre-book so that you are on schedule and my phone time is limited so I can focus on the direct service at hand throughout the day.

*Please understand 48 hour notice is a must for changed appointments. If less than 48 hours notice, half the fee for grooming will be charged. I have many clients pre book and work their other life appointments around their dogs spa day. It can be done.

*Please understand as I am working throughout the day, I may be unable to get to your call until days end. Texting may result in faster response time because I can do that in between appointments. I cannot give you my direct attention while blow drying a dog or take notes of our conversation as I am working on other client guests. It's a disservice to everyone. I understand my groomer places their focus on my dog while grooming them and I acknowledge my call will be returned when the groomer can give me their focus to do so.
